The LA Phil’s Toyota Symphonies for Youth (TSFY) concerts invite children ages 5 to 11 to soak up the sounds of a world-class orchestra while experiencing the thrill of live performance at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
For each of the season’s four TSFY concerts, the LA Phil’s Learning Department produced a program book aimed at helping the young audience members understand the music as well as provide a source of entertainment long after the concert ends. We partnered with the talented Illustrator, Robyn Baker, to design and illustrate these activity books every year since 2018. In 2019 we began printing commemorative posters of the cover art that was sold at the LA Phil Store before and after each concert. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the LA Phil has uploaded these activity books to our website for music lovers everywhere to enjoy from home.
